In my photographic explorations into the water, not everything happens underwater. There are times when the action is happening above the surface.
From an artistic point of view, this is a different way of looking at the same subject. The models are posed in the water, however, the overall aesthetic of the project is more fashion and editorial in nature. The focus is placed on portraits or parts of the human body, all of which are filtered through artistic expression.

What's really interesting about wetlook photography is that it opens up additional possibilities for creative expression, just like it does with underwater photography.



The combination of beach and summer-inspired landscapes, textiles, water, and the female figure are incorporated into a series of photographs that further contribute to Nereids' main underwater photography poject.
